The Chainsmokers is a DJ production that began in the year of 2012 and was created by Alex Pall an Andrew Taggart. Pall and Taggart created their very own American DJ project where they began to travel around the world. In the autumn of 2015, Pall and Taggart released another music single called “Roses”, which made it to the top 10 songs on the music US Billboard Hot 100 charts. They also recorded other songs that became well known and nominated for Grammy Awards including “Don’t Let Me Down”.
They were given the Best Dance Recording Grammy for the 59th awards show. The Chainsmokers have won other awards such as the iHeartRadio Music Award for number five song. These two musicians have gone as far as winning numerous awards such as two awards at the American Music Awards, four MTV awards in 2016 and 2017, “Favorite Group” and “Favorite Breakout Artist” at the People’s Choice Awards in 2017, as well as several others. Their achievements have gone internationally winning “Best International Hit” and “Best International Breaking Act”, at the Swiss Music Awards in 2018.

They have been on tour for their music known as the Memories Do Not Open tour of 2017. They have also been seen in their German interview on “Memories…Do Not Open”. The Chainsmokers have done collaborations with Coldplay, particularly on the song known as “Something Just Like This”, which was released in February 2017. Their labels include Sony, Columbia, and Disruptor.
